Professional Call of Duty

Call of duty professional gaming has gotten big in the past three years. Many people have started to watch online and go to events. this past summer MLG and XGames paired up and XGames hosted the first every MLG XGames tournament. Optic Gaming took first place this tournament and all got gold medals. Optic Gaming, a fan favorited team, consisted of Nadeshot, Scumpii, Proofy, and Clayster. They recently dropped Clayster and Proofy for the start of a new season and a new Call of Duty.

Tournaments

In a normal Call of Duty tournament its a double elemination tournament. Within each match you play a best of five. Which consists of two Search and Destroy, Two Dominations, and one Blitz. Whoever wins the best of five movies on in the winners bracket. Going through the losers bracket you can play back into the championship but if you come through the losers bracket you have to win two best of fives to win the tournament. Call of Duty tournaments prize pools are anywhere between $1,000 to $1,000,000.
