This website is made by Sophie and Valeria. We will talk about various pop culture conspiracy theories. Some of the theories mentioned are the:
Below are brief descriptions of the aforementioned theories.
The Reptile People (or "Reptoids") theory comes from English soccer player, sports commentator, and former representative of the Green Party of England and Wales, David Icke. In a TV interview, Icke admitted to being a conspiracy theorist. Post-1991, Icke began to devote his life to inform the world that it's being controlled by evil, blood drinking, shape-shifting reptile people from the fourth dimension (more specifically the Alpha Dranconis star system) among other outlandish theories. He is mostly known for his interviews, podcasts, and books.
In his theory he accuses many well-known public figures of being part of this reptilian alien race. Celebrities that Icke and his followers accuse in the theory are Rihanna, Justin Bieber, George W. Bush, and even the entire British royal family.
Here is a video of Justin Bieber's eyes flickering to their "reptilian form" during court:
The Avril Lavigne is Dead Conspiracy Theory came from twitter user @givenchyass, also known as "yeehaw girl". On May 12, 2017, "yeehaw girl" started a thread that presented evidence of the death and replacement of Avril Lavigne. Since Avril gained a lot of popularity at such a young age she hired a look alike named Melissa Vandella to handle the paparazzi. Only a year into her career, Avril's grandfather died. This impacted Avril greatly because the two were extremely close. Because of his death, she was very depressed and would lock herself in her home and write songs. During this dark time she was going though, many unknown sources say she threatened to kill herself out of grief.
The theory goes on to say that she succeeded in doing this and as a result the record company Avril was working with replaced her with a look alike because she was at the top of her career. This meaning that the record company didn't want her career to lose popularity.
For the Taylor Swift is the Daughter of a Satanist Theory, I couldn't find where it originated from however, many people with internet platforms have discussed this topic. This theory has two main parts, the first is that Taylor Swift is the daughter of the Zeena Lavey, the high priestess of Satanism. Many claim Taylor is the daughter the high priestess because of the extreme resemblance between the two, as seen in the following picture:
The second part says Taylor swift is the clone of Zeena Lavey. Why, you might say, would they want to clone Zeena LaVey? A possible reason for this could be because if something bad were to happen to Zeena they would have a backup, the clone. In this case, it is Taylor Swift.
This theory is one of the more improbable ones, as it is only based off the similarities between Zeena and Taylor.
The name "The 27 Club" is in reference to the large group of famous musicians who died at the age of 27. At least 50 musicians are a part of the famed 27 Club; some members include Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin.
Below is a brief description of each person and their cause of death (all of which happened at 27 years old).
The conspiracy all stems from the "founder" of the 27 club, blues guistarist Robert Johnson. Apparently, Johnson was a normal person who wanted to play the gutar better than anyone, so he went to a Mississippi crossroads and sold his soul to the devil. The contract ended at 27 years old, which was when he died. According to the theory, the next person to sell their soul was Brian Jones, the lead guitarist for the Rolling Stones, who drowned in his own pool.
This theory is definitely one of the more far-fetched ones that delves into the world of the occult.
